On the day of the Open House, California Pajarosa (133 Hughes Road, Watsonville) will be hosting Christina Stembel, founder and owner of Farm Girl Flowers. Christina will be demonstrating how to arrange flowers at 12pm and 2:30pm.
Christina Stembel is a San Francisco based florist and founded FarmGirl Flowers whose mission is to only offer locally grown flora and fauna in her designs. She specializes and strives to operate a sustainable floral business.
Christina grew up on a farm in Northern Indiana, and after moving around a bit, decided to make the Bay Area her home. She had the privilege of working in many industries, mostly in hospitality and event planning where she became interested in floral design. She started designing her own arrangements and realized tremendous savings along the way along learning how source and arrange sustainably which is how Farmgirl Flowers was born!
What’s that saying about being able to take the girl out of the country, but not the country out of the girl?
